The brief for this large bathroom was to replace the bath with a wet room shower area. In order to create the curved mosaic wall, a load-bearing airing cupboard had to be removed.
A steel support was therefore fitted to the ceiling to maintain the structural integrity of the house. The single ceiling light was replaced with several spotlights creating a tranquil feel to the room.
The existing sanitary ware was updated with a striking mahogany fitted unit which allowed for a concealed cistern for the back to wall WC. The polymarble basin completed the smooth effect.
Mocha embossed wall tiles were complemented by a natural stone effect flooring. The mosaic curved shower feature was continued through to the wet area and the glass partition separated the area still allowing for the flowing tranquil feel.
